My client is a market leader in the supply of equipment and supplies to the Blue Light industry. They now have a requirement for an experienced sales developer, ideally with a background working within in a blue light industry, to take on the northern area of the UK.

Business Development Manager – North
My client is a market leader in the supply of equipment and supplies to the Blue Light industry. They now have a requirement for an experienced sales developer, ideally with a background working within in a blue light industry, to take on the northern area of the UK.
You will be working as a key account developer, building relationships with Ambulance trusts, Police forces, Fire services and other associated prefessional markets.
You will also be fantastic at opening doors and obtaining appointments leading to new business development.
You will be a great relationship builder and have a sound grasp of the sales data. Easy wins will be as simple as adding new products to existing contracts and longer term pipeline will be ensuring the business is winning the right contracts as they become available.
You will require great excel skills and be data driven. Great at linkedin connecting and great at networking and phone calling to build new business.
Typical products range from splints / first aid consumables / bleed control / AED / cannula. Whilst experience selling these would be amazing it is not absolutely necessary BUT B2B Business Development is an absolute requirement.
The role is remote from your home office and field based in the North M62 corridor area.
Responsibilities
Establishing and winning new opportunies within the required Blue Light markets
Establishing tendering opportunities and what is required to win these.
Building a balanced portfolio of new and existing business
