Anderson Grain Marketing Ltd is a rapidly growing and dynamic privately owned business involved in the trading of all combinable farm crops and supplying seed / fertiliser across Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire.

Due to further expansion we now require an experience Farm Trader to be based from our offices near Pocklington, East Yorkshire
ABOUT THE JOB
Farm Trader Responsibilities
- Capable of developing farm networks across Yorkshire and North Lincs using phone and face to face visits
- Building a customer base over time leading to the business buying in the region of 40000 tonnes of grain or more
- Selling Seed and Fertiliser in defined target volumes
- Managing a customer database.
- Being a team player with a positive outlook is vital.
Farm Trader Requirements
- Proven experience of being a farm trader / buying combinable crops
- Has an existing customer base from which to grow
- Great telephone skills and capable of communicating with busy farmers.
- Driven to succeed and go the extra mile.
- Happy to undertake farm visits across the territory and work internally on the phone, making a professional impression.
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions.
- Has a clean driving license
Remuneration + Benefits
We are offering a base salary of upto £50k for a candidate with an existing portfolio of business / customers. This base will rise, with success, over the following years
